AZ-06 Residents Already Paying $525 in Extra Fuel Costs Since Start of War with Iran
TUCSON — After Congressman Juan Ciscomani voted five times in support of the war with Iran, A new report finds that since the start of the war on February 28, residents of Arizona’s sixth congressional district have paid an additional $525 per household for fuel prices.
According to IranWarCosts.com, since the start of the war, the average household has paid $258 more directly at the pump.
The current average gas price in Arizona is $4.52. On this day last year, the average gas price in Arizona was $3.46.
“Congressman Ciscomani voted for the war with Iran, and we can see the direct impact that’s having on Arizona’s cost of living,” Honest Arizona Executive Director Andrea Moreno said. “Arizonans need to tell Ciscomani to start looking out for them and stop supporting a war that is costing lives abroad and raising prices at home.”
