Honest Arizona Helps Struggling Arizonans, Holds Ciscomani Accountable

TUCSON — Honest Arizona spent the final days of August helping Arizona families afford an outing to the Children's Museum Tucson and holding Ciscomani accountable for his vote in support of the Republican Tax Law.

Roughly 1,500 showed up for the admission-free day, showing the desire of many to save costs where they can.

“Things are getting really expensive: gas is super high, food is expensive, rent is unaffordable. So we're working together to bring these issues up,” said Mayor Regina Romero who attended the Family Fun Day at the Children's Museum where admission was free for families all day on Saturday.

In addition, Monday was Congressman Ciscomani's birthday, and Arizonans gathered outside of his office to explain how his vote for the Republican Tax Law and support for tariffs and the war with Iran is making their lives less affordable. That law gave massive tax giveaways to billionaires and corporations, paid for by working families through cuts to health care and food assistance for millions of Americans.

“Arizona families are struggling as a result of Congressman Ciscomani and congressional Republicans' support for the Republican Tax Law,” said Andrea Moreno, Executive Director of Honest Arizona. “Congressman Ciscomani needs to be told again and again that his votes are hurting Arizonans.”
