Senate Passes GOP Tax Scam, Ciscomani & Schweikert Should Kill It

TUCSON —  Honest Arizona executive director Andrea Moreno released the following statement after the U.S. Senate passed its version of the GOP Tax Scam weeks after House Republicans passed their own version that also drastically cuts health care for Arizonans while giving massive tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans and corporations:

"Both the House and Senate versions of the GOP Tax Scam would devastate health coverage for Arizonans, shutter rural hospitals, take away food from low-income families, repeal job-creating clean energy investments and saddle future generations with trillions in more debt – just to pay for massive tax breaks to those at the top. Congressmen Schweikert and Ciscomani should do right by their constituents and vote to kill the GOP Tax Scam. Arizonans are counting on them to do the right thing."
