New Poll: Vast Majority of Americans Oppose Cost-Raising Tariffs Ciscomani & Schweikert Voted For

TUCSON — A new poll by Navigator Research found that two thirds of Americans oppose the cost-raising tariffs that Congressmen David Schweikert and Juan Ciscomani voted for multiple times..

Navigator also found that 67 percent of respondents recognized that tariffs are responsible for the price increases that American customers have seen this summer. Last week’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) report confirmed that the tariffs that Schweikert and Ciscomani voted for are raising costs and slowing down the economy.

“Congressmen David Schweikert and Juan Ciscomani said they would work to lower prices for Arizonans, but instead they voted to raise the prices of groceries, electricity, health care, school supplies, and just about everything else " said Andrea Moreno, Executive Director of Honest Arizona. “Ciscomani and Schweikert have spent 2025 giving tax breaks to billionaires and corporations—forcing their constituents to foot the bill with higher prices.”
