ICYMI: Arizonans See Highest Gas Price Increase In The Nation

Ciscomani and Schweikert Voted In Support of War That Led to Price Increases

TUCSON — Arizonans have seen the biggest increase in gas prices nationally, as Republicans like Congressmen David Schweikert and Juan Ciscomani vote for the War with Iran that is causing damage to the global oil market.

Today's average gas price in Arizona is $4.84. Before the war started, gas prices in Arizona were predicted to drop to $3 per gallon.

According to AZ Big Media:

Over the last 12 months, the cost of a gallon of gasoline in Arizona has increased 37.8%, now standing at $4.70. This puts Arizona at No. 1 in the U.S. when it comes to how much the price of gasoline has increased since last year.

"Skyrocketing gas prices are hurting Arizonans across the state, yet Congressmen Schweikert and Ciscomani aren’t working to lower costs for Arizonans," said Andrea Moreno, Executive Director of Honest Arizona. "They promised lower costs for Arizonans, but yet they've consistently voted to the exact opposite."
