Arizonans Come Together Amid Skyrocketing Health Care Premiums and Rising Costs

PHOENIX —  As Arizonans struggle from higher costs of food and health care this holiday season due to Republican tariffs and the Republican Tax Law, Honest Arizona led a Community Food Drive with six other local organizations to collect donations and support Valley area families. 

The event collected over 2,500 lbs of food. Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari was in attendance.

“Arizonans are being forced to make tough decisions with their paychecks this holiday season, as Congressmen Juan Ciscomani and David Schweikert support cost-raising tariffs and the Republican Tax Law instead of extending health care tax credits to help Arizonans afford insurance,” said Andrea Moreno, Executive Director of Honest Arizona. “While our elected leaders won’t look out for Arizona families, this event proved that we’ve got each other’s back.”
