Honest Arizona Launches Yard Sign Campaign to Hold Ciscomani Accountable for Raising Gas, Grocery Prices

TUCSON — Honest Arizona launched a yard sign campaign to hold Congressman Ciscomani accountable for his votes to raise gas and grocery prices.

The campaign is part of a larger six-figure campaign that features an accountability ad currently airing in the Tucson media market calling out Ciscomani for his votes for the Republican Tax Law and in support of the war in Iran that caused prices to increase.

The Republican Tax Law cut initiatives enacted in 2022 that lowered energy costs, and the war in Iran, that Ciscomani also voted to support, is causing a global energy crisis forcing prices at the pump to skyrocket. Gas prices in Arizona were projected to drop to $3 a gallon earlier this year, but right now prices are nearing $5 a gallon statewide.

“Congressman Ciscomani said he cares about lowering costs for Arizonans but his vote to support the war in Iran and the Republican Tax Law raised prices for Arizonans,” said Andrea Moreno, Executive Director for Honest Arizona. “We want to encourage Arizonans to contact Congressman Ciscomani and tell him to stop raising our prices!”
