Ciscomani Votes Again to Keep War in Iran Going and Keep Prices High

Gas Prices in AZ Reach $4.84 Today

TUCSON — Honest Arizona Executive Director Andrea Moreno released the following statement after Congressman Ciscomani voted to keep the War with Iran going without an end in sight:

“Instead of stopping the war and stopping the squeeze on Arizonans by rising costs, Congressman Ciscomani voted today to triple down on a foolhardy war that is hurting Arizonans while not making anyone safer. Gas prices in Arizona are nearing $5 a gallon – a reversal of the direction prices were headed before the war with Iran started in February. Arizonans are hurting but Ciscomani is putting his partisan support for this war ahead of prioritizing lower costs for Arizonans.”

Today’s vote was the third War Powers Resolution since the start of the Iran War.
